Tom Rose has worked passionately and successfully in the music industry since 1989. Firstly via independent music retail where aged just 17, he quickly rose from sales assistant to store manager, then area manager and group buyer for a chain of music retail and ticket outlets in the UK. Also during this time Tom co-promoted a weekly alternative music club night and DJ’d often with live bands performing before the club. Here Tom's love of promoting music flourished and he was soon DJ’ing at live shows for national touring acts and booking Radio DJ's.

In 1998 (still only aged 25) he left the chain of shops to start his own company, Reveal Records, which opened its doors in 1999.
This much loved Reveal store moved to a second larger premises in 2003, and then won the Music Week Award for ‘Best UK Independent Music Retailer’ (2005).

During 2005 Tom was so impressed with a concert by Joan As Police Woman that he immediately set up and secured distribution forthe Reveal Records label. He has since worked with a succession of popular and acclaimed talent from the UK and USA, and has had two hit albums with Joan As Police Woman and success with other artists such as Kris Drever, Lau and A Camp. In 2007 Tom established Navigator Records (in a joint venture with Proper Music) where he signed and released
many highly acclaimed albums by the likes of Bellowhead, Under One Sky, Jon Boden, Lau, Heidi Talbot and many more,
Tom now independently consults to the label, heading up campaigns for their new release marketing and publicity and promotion.

More recently Tom has handled PR work for Joan As Police Woman’s Cover album and her sold-out UK duo tour and managed promotion and marketing for Chris Wood’s hugely acclaimed Handmade Life Tour and 2010 album release. With experience across many aspects of the music industry Tom now manages, promotes, books and represents a wide range of top musicians and artists with that very same passion that got him so interested in music to begin with.
